"Andrés Narváez, líder social colombiano, juglar de la música y poeta empírico, regresa a los Montes de María tras su exilio en España, luego de un atentado contra su vida en el que le dispararon cuatro veces. Su paso por Asturias y la melancolía de una migración forzada lo inspiraron a componer varias de sus canciones más conocidas, conectando a través del canto las dos Europas: la que dejó y la que lo acogió. A su regreso, con la violencia aún latente, Andrés se adentra en los paisajes más profundos de su territorio y en los recuerdos más dolorosos que la guerra dejó, componiendo en memoria de quienes ya no caminan con él. La música lo salvó, y por eso decidió que 'es mejor cantar que señalar'."

 Long Synopsis:

Andrés Narváez, Colombian social leader, minstrel and empirical poet, returns to Montes de María after his exile in Spain, following an attempt on his life in which he was shot four times. His time in Asturias and the melancholy of forced migration inspired him to compose several of his best-known songs, connecting the two Europes through song: the one he left behind and the one that welcomed him. On his return, with violence still latent, Andrés delves into the deepest landscapes of his territory and the most painful memories left by the war, composing in memory of those who no longer walk with him. Music saved him, and that is why he decided that “it is better to sing than to point fingers”.
